Training Packages
Puppy Paws NYC offers an array of service packages tailored to you and your puppy's needs.
Please note that there is a one-time evening (after 5:00pm) and weekend surcharge of $20 for all packages.

Before Puppy Arrives

We want to help you get it right, right from the start! Our Breed Selection service is just $25 which includes an introductory meeting with one of our Certified Trainers. If you sign up for any Daily Care package or Training sessions we'll credit the $25 back to your account.
Breed Selection
(30 minutes) - In home
Member $0, Non-Member $25
In 30-45 minutes we'll build a profile of you that we'll use to match with breeds that best fit your lifestyle.
Puppy Prep Consultation
(60 minute session) - In home Member $50, Non-Member $75
Are you prepared for your new puppy's arrival? We'll go over the following during a 1 hour session at your home:
- Puppy Proofing your apartment
- Crate / containment placement
- Supply checklist
- Discuss socialization strategies and importance
After Puppy Arrives
Housebreaking Techniques
(60 minute Session) - In home Member $75, Non-Member $120
- Develop schedule to match your lifestyle
- Wee-Wee pad training
- Curb training
- Adjusting to crate / containment area
Puppy Manners and Training Strategies
(90 minute Session) - In home Member $100, Non-Member $130
Choose 4 of the following topics:
- Extinguishing jumping on people
- Extinguishing jumping on furniture
- Proper leash etiquette
- Teething strategies
- Handling techniques for grooming and equipment
- Adjusting to crate / containment area
- Focus command
- Touch command
Follow-up sessions to discuss other puppy manner tropics are billed per hour ($75 for members, $100 non-members
Basic Obedience
(Six 45-60 minute sessions) - In home Member $350, Non-Member $550
- Look, Touch, and Sit
- Down
- Stay
- Come
- Drop it (or Leave it)
- Review all commands (owner present)
The first five sessions may be with or without owner. The final session however is with the owner so we can teach you how to re-enforce the training
and address any questions. After every lesson we will send you details about what we worked on and methods for continuing practice.
Shy-Puppy
Socialization Training
(60 minute session) - In home Member $75, Non-Member $100
For the shy pup:
- Hand shyness techniques
- Breaking out of the shell
- Adjusting to city life and sounds
